Some Context: I attempted to sell the first version in 2004. Baen's Books requested a rewrite,
and a well-known literary agent got excited about the first three chapters, but did not follow up. After I went through the
Odyssey Writing Workshop, I embarked on a massive rewrite, completed in 2007.
