My story "Post-American Princess" is published in Dark Recesses Press for their final issue.
In July 2012, I took a vacation in France with my parents and a friend. We got lost in a hedge maze at Versailles, climbed to the top of the Arc de Triomphe, saw creepy boy who stole a skull inside the Paris catacombs, annoyed a guard at Napoleon's Tomb, and had many other adventures! Here are some videos hosted on my YouTube "Travel" playlist.

I attended Armadillocon in July 2012. I spoke on the following panels:
- Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr (social media and writing)
- Game of Thrones: The Book, the Series, the Impact
- Pictures at an Exhibition (review of submitted artwork)
- Building a Fictional Society from the Ground Up
- Writing from a Viewpoint Other than Your Own
I also had a reading, and was gratified that some people showed up to listen! Best of all, my local writing group critiqued the fourth book in my Torth series at the hotel bar. We discussed my book from 11pm to 2:30am, and I got some great feedback and new ideas.

I taught 3D Animation at the Austin Community College, Spring 2012 semester.
